Seminar hosted by Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy

NAA’s staff participated in the seminar for the Vice-rectors on educational and methodological work of the Universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture of RF and the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency. The meeting was held under the theme "The Peculiarities of the Educational Activities Organization for HE Programs in Current Context".

The Seminar was opened on 31st January. The meeting was hosted by the Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy (RSAU – MTAA).

Ivan Lebedev, the State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, made a welcoming speech. During the meeting, the participants discussed the following issues: the priority areas of education development in Russia; the improvement of legislation in the field of education; the legislative support of staff training for agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation.

Natalia Naumova, the Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor), made a report devoted to Rosobrnadzor’s activities on the development of HE. Lemka Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, highlighted the issues of state accreditation of HEIs under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Agriculture of RF.
