Evaluation of education quality during state accreditation and professional public accreditation

A round table dedicated to professional public accreditation

On January 19, 2023, NAA took part in a round table meeting conducted by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). The participants from secondary vocational and higher education took part in the event. The meeting was also attended by the representatives from Department of Education and Science of Moscow, the Foundation for the Professional Qualifications Development of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as professional community represented by employers and their associations. The event was organized in a Zoom format.

Legal support for state accreditation and professional public accreditation (PPA), taking into account the PPA results during external review of degree programs declared for state accreditation (in accordance with the new model of state accreditation) were considered at the event. PPA results of educational institutions of secondary vocational and higher education in 2022 were summed up and the prospects for PPA development in 2023 were determined.

The meeting participants became familiar with Working group’s suggestions on the development of vocational education and training in the national qualifications system. NAA’s leaders are the members of Working group on introducing amendments and additions to Article 96 of the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation", aimed to improve the PPA procedure.

After the speakers’ speeches, the event continued in the format of a discussion.
