NAA’s Director gave a presentation at the join meeting of the Expert Council on De-bureaucratization in the Education and Science and the Expert Council on Management of the Knowledge Economy

03.02.2021 – a joint meeting of the Expert Councils under the State Duma Committee on Education and Science

On February 3, 2021, a joint meeting of the Expert Council on De-bureaucratization in Education and Science under the State Duma Committee on Education and Science and the Expert Council on Management of the Knowledge Economy on the issue: “Regulation of relations connected with the organization and implementation of state control (supervision), municipal control in education and science ” took place.

Lemka Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, gave a presentation "Approaches to the implementation of state accreditation of educational activities." During her speech, Ms Izmaylova presented the information on changes in regulatory legal documentation and the development of modern technologies in the state accreditation procedure. Over the past 5 years, there has been a tendency towards an increase in the number of HEIs providing documentation for state accreditation in electronic form, without using a paper format. In 2020, due to the epidemiological situation, the external reviews took place in electronic form using the GA IS. Furthermore, NAA’s Director spoke about the technological and legal-normative improvement of the state accreditation and noted that over the past few years the procedure has become more transparent and independent.

In conclusion, Lemka Izmaylova thanked the meeting participants for their attention to the issues of the state accreditation procedure.
