Working Group Meeting of the Council on Cooperation in Education of CIS countries

On March 2, 2020, in Minsk (Belarus) the Working Group Meeting of the Council on Cooperation in Education of CIS countries took place. The event was devoted to finalization of the Draft Agreement on Cooperation in Accreditation of Educational Organizations of the States Members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS countries).

The representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan as well as employees of the CIS Executive Committee attended the event.

Lemka S. Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, was elected the chairperson of the meeting.

After discussing of the Draft Agreement on Cooperation developed by the Commission on quality assurance of education (paragraph 6 of Protocol No. 7 of the meeting of the CIS Council of April 19, 2019), the participants concluded that it was necessary to elaborate the uniform standards for quality assurance of higher education for CIS countries.

The participants also decided to develop recommendations for joint projects implementation and exchange of experts for external reviews, training of international experts as well as creation of a single pool of experts.
