Events on theological education were held
On September 21-23, 2022, NAA’s managers participated in the events aimed at developing theology as a branch of scientific knowledge and a complex of study disciplines, improving the quality of teaching theology in Russia as well as uniting scientific, organizational, methodological and expert activities of Russian universities in the field of theology.
The XV International Scientific and Educational Conference "Readings in Galimdzhan Baudi name" on the topic "Russian theology and the challenges of the time: from revision of ideas to dynamic development in the interests of society" was held on September 21 - 23 in Moscow. The event was hosted by the Spiritual Muslims Administration of the Russian Federation (SMA) and the Moscow Islamic Institute with the participation of the Center for Islamic Studies in St. Petersburg State University.
The conference participants discussed the relationship between the tradition and modernization in Islamic education, state standards for Islamic educational institutions as well as the formation of a scientific and theoretical basis for them. The event attendees representing Russian and foreign religious organizations discussed the issues of Muslim leaders training and exchanged experience in this area.
Lemka Izmaylova, NAA’s Director took part in the conference and delivered a report “State standards in relation to Islamic educational institutions: problems and prospects”.
Cultural and religious education was touched upon not only at the SMA conference. On September 21, 2022, a solemn concert of the All-Russian Student Literary and Musical Festival "NOTA in Note" was held at the RANEPA University. The Scientific and Educational Theological Association hosted the event. Tatyana Bibik, NAA’s Deputy Director attended the concert.
The festive evening was held with the participation of the famous Sretensky Monastery’s choir, as well as student creative teams from Moscow universities - members of the Scientific and Educational Theological Association.
