A seminar on topical issues for state accreditation was held

A practice-oriented seminar was organized by NAA

On November 15, 2022, a practice-oriented seminar was held in Moscow. The aim of the event was to provide practical recommendations in the process of preparing for state accreditation of degree programs: filling in an application form as well as the requirements for the attached set of documents.

Aleksey Yemelyanov, NAA’s Deputy Director, opened the seminar with a welcoming speech. He drew attention to the importance of holding such events to clarify the issues related to regulatory changes, to provide up-to-date and reliable information for submitting documents as well as to successfully undergo the state accreditation procedure. At the end of his speech, Mr Yemelyanov wished the participants a good working mood and productive work at the seminar.

During the event, the participants learned about the main changes in the state accreditation procedure: an overview of the main normative legal acts regulating the procedure for state accreditation of educational activities was presented, and a retrospective analysis of the legal framework was also carried out. Particular attention was paid to accreditation indicators on the example of the indicators for study programs of higher education and the requirements for diagnostic work during external review.

The listeners were informed in detail about the important stages for preparing an application from and a set of documents from a HEI to be submitted for state accreditation. During the seminar, the participants were able to receive practical recommendations both on filling in the forms on degree programs delivery, and on working with the organization's personal account in the ISSA system.

At the end of the seminar, the speakers answered the participants’ questions.
