Training on expert activities took place

On October 27-29, NAA’s representatives conducted a training session for expert applicants devoted to state accreditation of educational activities. The training was implemented in connection with the entry into force on September 1, 2022 of Rosobrnadzor’s Order dated January 18, 2022 № 35 “On approval of the procedure for certification, engagement, selection of experts and expert organizations involved in external review as well as maintaining a register of experts and expert organizations”.

Lemka Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, spoke about the current changes in legislation, a new model of state accreditation and interaction between experts and NAA during external review. Ms Izmaylova drew the audience's attention to the fact that the changes taking place in the system of state accreditation do not affect the importance of expert activity; the significance of the expert’s role in the state accreditation procedure remains unchanged.

During the event, the participants learned about the new procedure for experts’ certification, new standards for conducting external review, about working with IS SA services, including expert’s personal account.

As part of the training, Tatyana Bibik, NAA’s Deputy Director, held a practical lesson on "Selection of assessment materials for diagnostic work." The lesson presented an analysis of the generalized results of the performed tasks’ check, as well as recommendations for the universities to create reliable tools for assessing students’ learning outcomes.

The event ended with a final test, according to the results of which the participants received certificates of the advanced training.

National Accreditation Agency thanks the participants for the productive work at the seminar!
