Webinar on issues of posting information on an educational organization’s website

On December 9, 2020, the National Accreditation Agency, NAA held a webinar on the issues devoted to posting information on an educational organization’s official web-site. The event was attended by representatives of organizations engaged in educational activities, including specialists responsible for maintaining the official web sites.

During the webinar, the speakers analyzed the compatibility of the html-markup used on the official websites of the educational organizations with the requirements of the Methodological Recommendations for the presentation of information for HEIs in open sources, taking into account compliance with the requirements of the legislation (the official letter No. ITB / 2020-802 dated 20.10. 2020).

Mikhail Petropavlovsky, NAA’s Deputy Director - Director of NAA’s branch opened the webinar. Welcoming the participants, he emphasized the importance and urgency of the webinar’s topic. In his report, he provided detailed information on the implementation of the legislative requirements set to the structure and content of the educational organization’s website in the Internet.

NAA’s specialists continued the webinar work. They highlighted the following issues: the requirements to the format of the information posted on the educational organization’s official website; summarized analysis on the compatibility of the html-markup used on HEIs’ official websites; typical violations and shortcomings in the structure and content of the information posted on the educational organization’s official website.

At the end of the event, NAA’s representatives responded to the questions raised by the webinar participants.
