On June 25, 2021, training on state regulation of educational activities was held

On June 25, 2021, the National Accreditation Agency, NAA held a practice-oriented seminar on the issues of state regulation of educational activities. The event was organized in the Educational and Scientific Complex of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Berbekov, KBSU. The seminar was aimed at obtaining practical recommendations on licensing, state control and supervision as well as state accreditation of educational activities.

NAA’s managers and leading specialists as well as experts of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science made presentations to the participants of the seminar.

The seminar was opened by KBSU’s rector. He thanked NAA’s staff for organizing the seminar and noted its great practical importance for HEIs’ representatives.

Tatyana Bibik, NAA’s Deputy Director, made a presentation on the issues of state regulation of educational activities and changes in the legal support of the procedure. She drew the participants’ attention to the documents that should come into force shortly and asked to take these changes into account when using them in work.

Furthermore, the participants learned about the legal basis for licensing of educational activities and the principles of state control (supervision) in the field of education.

Elena Zakhvatova, NAA’s Deputy Head of the Analytical Department, spoke about the compliance of the basic study programs of HE with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard during state accreditation.

The event was finished with responses to participants’ questions.
