NAA’s Director took part in V Central Asian International Forum

On October the 5th Central Asian International Forum was held in the Republic of Kazakhstan

V Central Asian International Forum "Higher Education Quality Assurance: Global Trends and Regional Aspects" was held on October 1-2, 2021. The event was attended by representatives from Kazakhstan, Russia, Latvia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Belarus and other countries.

Lemka Izmaylova, NAA’s Director, made a welcoming speech at the Forum plenary session. She congratulated the colleagues from the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR, Republic of Kazakhstan) on their 10th anniversary and wished further productive cooperation in the field of international activity. Ms Izmaylova also noted the Forum special significance for development and improvement of the higher education quality and enhanced cooperation with international agencies.

During the Forum, the following key issues were discussed: international approaches to the quality assurance of education, development strategies and teaching technologies of higher education, international accreditation as a tool for improving the quality of medical education, etc.

For reference: The Annual Central Asian International Forum (organised by the Republic of Kazakhstan) is held to discuss modern approaches to the development of a quality assurance system, accreditation and rating research, to expand cooperation with international organizations and agencies.
