NAA took part in Moscow International Education Fair 2016

On April 13-16, 2016 in Hall 75 at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh) there was the Moscow International Education Fair (MIEF) organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

MIEF is an annual open platform for exchange of experience on challenging questions in the Russian education system. As usual MIEF was attended by representatives of Russian and international professional community, as well as school students, school leavers, students and their parents.

Every day at Rosobrnadzor’s stand at MIEF, NAA’s specialists consulted attendees on state accreditation issues. On April 13 the stand was visited by the head of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science (Rosobrnadzor) Sergey Kravtsov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Livanov and the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Olga Golodets.

On April 15 the International Department of the Ministry of Education and Science organized the round table “Russia- Council of Europe: 20 Years of cooperation”. The welcome speech was made by the Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Livanov and the deputy Director-General of UNESCO. The deputy director of the International Department Igor Ganshin was the host of the round table.

The round table was attended by the head of the Program Office of the Council of Europe in the Russian Federation Petr Zikh, experts of the Council of Europe Maria Louisa de Bivar Black, Thomas Foltynek, Ekaterina Dolgova-Drier, the director of Main State Center for Education Evaluation Vera Skorobogatova, Deputy Director of NAA Elena Efimova. Elena Efimova’s report “Education Quality Evaluation in Russia” was focused on the mechanisms of education quality evaluation, and tendencies in higher education quality assurance in Russia. “Today the system of federal state control of education quality is becoming more and more transparent”, said Elena Efimova and invited Russian and foreign colleages for cooperation.
